Within the scope of the "2024 Turkey Disaster Response Plan (TAMP) National Medical Rescue Team (UMKE) Regional Training and Exercise", which was held on 13-15 May 2024 in Çanakkale's Gökçeada district and lasted for 3 days, our University's Faculty of Marine Sciences and Technology and Marine Technologies Vocational School Vocational School Research Ships were also present with their personnel and took an active part in rescue and intervention training for maritime accidents.

Lecturer Gençtan Erman UĞUR, representing our department, also participated in the drill as an observer.
